Service Description
Concerned your child may be struggling with their mental health and not sure how to help? In this session we will discuss common childhood mental health concerns, what you can do to help and when to seek help from an expert. Come with your questions! Emily is an occupational therapist with a decade worth of experience. She completed her postgraduate studies in child and adolescent mental health. She has spent most of her career working within the child, adolescent, family and youth (CAFYS) service within the public health system. Emily is aware of the huge gap in mental health support available to New Zealand's youth and families, and wants to be able to offer more accessible and accurate support and information to all. Join Emily on her series of informative seminars which explore a variety of mental health concerns for parents and young people alike. Attend them all or just pick and choose from which apply to you and your whanau.
